No Kaiji this week

Sonic is dealing with sudden, serious personal matters, so there will not be a Kaiji chapter this week. I may fill in to get a chapter out next week, though I won't guarantee anything because I'm busy as well. Sorry to everyone who was looking forward to it after the events of the previous chapter, but as always we'll catch up eventually.

  4. to be specific my dad just died from heart surgery in the hospital and he meant so much to me that I can't think about anything else. I asked Denji to take care of next week's chapter while I mourn him. Thanks for the wishes.

    1. Sorry to hear that.
I have lost my mother in a similar way.
I know no words can help in a situation like this, but I'm still trying to throw them out. You are a great guy.
We can wait for FKMTkrazy releases as long as it takes, just be safe, healthy.
A lot of people love this group and your work, never forget that.
      Be proud, be strong.
      -Love, Rinshan.

    2. My condolences. I lost a parent last year, it was the worst feeling in the world. Especially when they aren't that old, you really don't expect it.

I think Biggums lost his mother too last year, sad times for sure.

The pain never goes away. Even months later it can sting again when I least expect it. The only thing I can do is recite Buddha's name with kindness and gratitude in my heart. Gratitude to the Buddha and to my parent for the kindness they have shown me. Then I dedicate the merit to my deceased parent.

I do that every day. If I'm gonna remember them, I'd rather do so with a peaceful and kind state of mind. The sadness remains, but at least it's not depressing sadness, there is love intertwined in there.

    3. Hey: I know the response of a random stranger on the internet means absolutely nothing, but I felt compelled to tell you how sorry I am. The pain of a lost family member is awful. There's no need to apologise for the lack of a Kaiji chapter any week, nor any pressure to continue working on any FKMT project during such a difficult time. Please take as long as you need to recover, and remember that you have an entire community that cares deeply about your welfare, far more than a chapter of a manga series. You're worth so much more.
