Yeah, I've been kinda busy with work (and maybe a bit distracted by my new shiny Wii U) lately and haven't been translating very much. But here's the next chapter of Akagi, in which very little happens! Thanks to TA and Biggums for the cleans and to Tambur for the typesetting!

Kazuya-Hen Chapters 67 & 68

Yeah, it's a double release! I want to try and get a more steady stream going rather than just releasing a bunch of batch releases, but I felt these two chapters had to be released together so the ending of 67 would be explained a bit.

Akagi Chapter 218

Yep, back with more Akagi. I don't think it would be right to just pretend the discussion in the comments last post didn't happen, so I guess I'll address it. The reason why I implied I wanted to focus on Akagi more than Kaiji is for several reasons, but most importantly because I just feel like Akagi is a better read per-chapter at the moment. Those of you who don't get mahjong probably can't see how, but I feel that, even though both series are going at roughly the same pace at the moment, Kaiji is just focusing solely on hitting home one idea really really hard while managing to throw hooks in an the end, while in Akagi there's a new development every chapter that they analyze a ton.

But that said, putting aside what I would LIKE to do, the reality is that we have quite a few kaiji cleans just laying around whereas we just ran through all of the available cleans for Akagi. So in the end I'll probably wind up catching up to the cleans we have for Kaiji, anyway. So I anticipate you'll see more Kaiji than Akagi for a while.

Oh, Kaiji, I couldn't keep you dropped for long. Yeah, I guess I'm getting back into a rhythm, so since it looks like nobody picked it up once we dropped it (I was seriously convinced someone would) I'm gonna be doing a chapter every now and then. I don't want to neglect Akagi when we're so close to catching up, but then again, we're really close to catching up with Kaiji as well. I dunno, I'll do what I can, and we're certainly still open for it if anyone wants to translate for us.

Yes, a double release! I actually got a little bit ahead of Tambur it looks like. But I may drop back down behind him because my workweek is looking very rough this week. So rough in fact that I will not be able to stream this Friday, I am working all day that day. I'd do it sunday instead, but I tried that before and nobody came :(

Yep, here's chapter 2. I guess this post is a kind of "All hail our new translating God, Denji" post, since I also have for you an anti-drug FKMT oneshot that was published on a government website fairly recently that Denji translated and edited all on his own.
