Restricted Rock-Paper-Scissors Online Game Test

On Friday the 8th of March, 2013, at 22:00 GMT, we will be having a Beta-Testing event on the IRC for PiGPEN's online flash game of Restricted Rock Paper Scissors. Yes, the game from Kaiji. The rules are of course not exactly like those shown in the Anime and Manga, but they are edited in such a way as to tailor to the goal of having a rich, long-lasting online game. And you, followers of FKMTkrazy, will be given the opportunity to take part in the first full playtest of the game should you decide to come.

The game operates using stars and cards, with stars taking the role of what Money did in the anime. You can purchase information on your opponents and do many other things with your stars, not to mention the fact that your stars directly decide whether you will survive. There are various other intricacies that will be explained to you once we get started, but the only other thing you need to know right now is that you don't need to be right on time; you can join in on the game at any time while it's still going.

I do ask that you download the client beforehand, however. If you are on a windows computer, all you must do is get the file from the link below and have it ready when you come on IRC this Friday:

If you are on a Mac or Linux computer, however, you should download it from this link instead:

And then download flash player for your operating system, as detailed below:

Feel free to ask questions in the comments section below. Hope to see you there!

  2. So you are mixing stars and money into the same thing? I wonder how will this go.

  4. This is not really about the client, but if you are able to post clean links like that, why don't have download links in every chapter release? It's a complete pain in the ass to go the Mediafire folder and navigate all the to the specific arc, especially with Akagi.

  5. If I lose, do I go to the underground labor camp where poor bastards clean raws until they pay their debts?

    2. I won't stream it, because people could see what I'm going to play and whatnot. But I'll record my experience, sure.

  8. This looks fun, I will certainly attend.

I'm guessing that this game will be more of a competition to see who can obtain the most stars before all the cards are used.

  9. So if I'm on windows I don't need to download anything except for the first file, am I right? But man, is this one exciting. I hope at least ten or more people attend to make it more exciting.
