"Isn't this the least you can do to repay me?!"

Let Washizu in the Afterlife Arc 2 begin! Just kidding, it all happens in one chapter. It seems more like an inner conflict though, with ending his begging to give up his life being represented by his going super saiyan and burning the oni to the ground. I don't have much to say about this chapter.

  1. Argh, more hallucinations. Since the scanlation hasn't quite caught up with the latest Japanese magazine issue yet my guess is the most current issue is either deep into another Washizu hallucination in which he regathers the will to try and kill Akagi before he himself keels over or they've just finished another hallucination arc and they get back to the serious business of finishing the current game.

  3. I'm pretty sure this only lasts for this chapter, personally I don't complain too much since I like seeing Washizu's hallucinations. Thanks for the chapter!

  4. How many times is FKMT going to pull the "Washizu begs the gods for help, then realizes he's the best thing ever" card? This is like the fourth time.

    1. Well he's pretty tired, old and dazed, he probably forgot about the last time. I still hope it is the last time though.

  6. This was a good chapter, although it should have ended with a bit more reflection by Washizu since that's kind of the whole point.

The "How trivial. Not worth my time"-line was hilarious in a weird way.

  7. I enjoyed this chapter. At least it increased the tension and is one step closer to bringing closure to the game.

  8. Has anyone one done an "Instant ZawaZawa" site sort of like one of those "Instant Rimshot" buttons? It would be useful for reading these series.

  9. Do all these series take place in the same world? As in Kaiji, Akagaki, Zero, etc

    1. That would probably be Fukumoto's greatest work if he did that. It certainly could work considering a lot of the stories take place in different time lines.
