The New Kurosawa Chapter 25

This chapter marks our half year anniversary of releasing Kurosawa! Get out those champagne bottles and bust that shit over Kojiemon's head! Seriously, screw that guy!

Thanks to Denji for the translations and Crump Biggums for the cleans!

The New Kurosawa Chapter 25

"How could anyone be so stubborn!?"

I kinda get the feeling Fukumoto uses the Kurosawa publication as an excuse to draw the ugliest characters possible. I mean Kurosawa is one thing. He's not the prettiest flower in the garden, but Kojiemon. It's like a dog squatted in the flower bed! He's ugly as hell! And what a terrible demeanor he has. He's ugly inside and out! I wouldn't be surprised if he had Kurosawa walk down a highway with 10 other people and whoever comes out in the end gets 1 ticket to an all-you-can-eat Barbeque Buffet. This guy is twisted. Why does he even need that much water anyway!? Totally in spite.

  1. I feel as if Fukumoto likes Kurosawa the most out of all his series.

It feels to me like he struggled with homelessness at some point in his life and he enjoys encouraging other older, struggling people to keep on going.

    1. The following this Kaiji must be next, Kaiji is also all about the struggle, except that it follows a younger guy, that is like one step away from indigence.

But i agree this short of manga gives him quite an opportunity to explore things you wont see somewhere else.

  2. I have to say i don't enjoy this as much as the Original

The episodic Fornula ever since Kurosawa got out of the hospital is a bit annoying, its essentially just Kurosawa and Gang solving minor problems(or failing at it) without any consequences whatsoever

Of course i hope that its get better because it seems to be such a waste to "ruin" the Impact of the Original by reviving Kurosawa for a lackluster sequel

    1. I agree that the original felt more genuine and every chapter was consequential, but this is also a nice way of looking at the problems homeless people are struggling with. The part with the boxing guy also hit a note with me because I know several people who messed their life up because of anger.

And hey, who knows what's coming, it's FKMT we're talking about.
