Kazuya-Hen Chapter 9

So hey guys. Sorry for the extended break in updates for Kazuya-Hen. My break ended and then college got real but I'm back. Better late than never, right? Thanks to Js06 for the script and Biggums for the cleans for keeping up the good work while I was unavailable.

She's a real beauty.

So when we last left off, Kaiji, who is as you remember is the main character, was still reading. Intense, I know. In the book, Arisa has realized that Tatsuya will no longer protect her. In fact, it's kind of the opposite: he is willing to sacrifice her for his survival. Luckily for Arisa, she has everything figured out. There is a reason for the number of holes and number of swords there are. If you kill the other right from the start, then that's seven free slots. With the two in your own leg, you are pretty much guaranteed survival. With this is mind, she wants to use her last two swords to try to finish Tatsuya off before he finishes her off. The boss it pretty pleased with her revelation, but he insists on staying neutral.

Until he doesn't, and allows her to go forward with her request anyways.

  1. man that hoe just ruined my hypothesis of going for the legs in a wonderful lets not kill each other world, so this is a definite "horror end" i insist they both survive knowing how much of a piece of shit they all are.

    2. Nah, calling it. She gets him fatally wounded, but he survives long enough to call a sword on her, killing her as well.

  3. He has a 30% chance of survival, not looking too good for him.

  5. This is just a hunch but what if the boss lets the man take the next turn and then give's the girl the last two?

She didn't ask to go first after all

  6. At the moment I'm guessing all the remaining plates are in Tatsuya and this is just the Boss giving Arisa false hope (the 2 consecutive stabs concession) before she dies in despair.

  7. Asked this on the last update but might as well ask again XD

What happens if someone dies? Will the second person just choose for them? Also, what would happen if someone passes out from blood-loss or something? If it plays out like I think it will, it seems extremely unfair if the second person gets to choose twice!

  9. I'll throw my lot into the "they both die" hat.

Would seem fitting, though it would require someone to live through a sword in the heart >_>

It's fiction, so maybe. No idea.

  14. Noone is expecting "She kills him, but then stabs her leg and it starts to bleed. Boss never offered medical assistance if she got stabbed, so she bleeds to death."

  15. I've turned word verification back on because we've been getting spambots on some of the earlier blog posts. Sorry.
